Test the most commonly used LED bulbs, with incandescant equivalents to 40W & 60W, compare for the best CRI value for optimum color accuracy and check for the best R value of LED to ensure the reds are rendered with the optimum saturated light.
By using your test sample as a fruit bowl, each bulb’s illumination can be compared by eye and by taking photographic examples. Each bulb should be dimmed slowly to see how smooth the lowering of light is and how low it will go before turning off.
